Week 1

When: Monday, September 12th

Who: Los Angeles Rams

Where: Levi’s Stadium

For the second year in a row the 49ers open up the season at home on Monday night. Not only is it a prime-time game, it’s a divisional game.

There is one problem for the Rams, when it’s Monday night, the 49ers become super-human. They currently hold the most wins in Monday Night Football history with 47. Quarterback Colin Kaepernick is undefeated on Monday night, with a record of 5-0. The Rams might be in for a rough night.

Key Matchup: Jared Goff vs. DeForest Buckner

The battle between two first-round selections in 2016. Buckner will look to put Goff on his back all night, creating a very intriguing match up.

The Rams and 49ers play very well against each other, but this is one match-up that doesn’t seem to be in the Rams favor.

Prediction: Win
