The 49ers ended up grabbing a total of 11 players via the 2016 NFL Draft and added another 12 undrafted free agents following the draft.
Here’s a brief recap of San Francisco’s draft picks:

- Round 1, Pick 28 (Acquired via trade with Kansas City): Joshua Garnett, OG, Stanford
- Round 3, Pick 68: Will Redmond, CB, Mississippi State
- Round 4, Pick 133: Rashard Robinson, CB, LSU
- Round 5, Pick 142: Ronald Blair, DE, Appalachian State
