Colin Kaepernick is still a 49er.

It is very unlikely that Kaepernick plays anywhere else in 2016. He will show up and be asked to compete with Blaine Gabbert and newly acquired Jeff Driskel. A competition that Gabbert has the advantage in but one that Kaepernick will win.

Under Chip Kelly, Kaepernick has a great opportunity to buy-in and be great.

However, do not count out Driskel. He will come in, compete and surprise a lot of people. Driskel has the ability to start at QB as early as 2017.
