5. Jalen Ramsey, Defensive Back, Florida State

There is no way this man slips past pick No. 5 tonight. Honestly, I still have a hard time with him making it that far.

General manager David Caldwell’s plan for the offseason was to bolster the Jacksonville Jaguars’ front seven in free agency, while attacking the holes in the secondary via the draft. With defensive back Aaron Colvin’s suspension of four games, Florida State’s Jalen Ramsey could be a piece now and for the future.

The signing of Super Bowl champion defender Malik Jackson was huge for Jacksonville this offseason, and drafting Ramsey would be a great piece to go behind him in the secondary.
