9. Leonard Floyd, Defensive End/Outside Linebacker, University of Georgia

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers desperately need an edge-rusher, a defensive end, to put on their line with inside presence of Gerald McCoy.

Georgia’s Leonard Floyd is the draft’s best prospect at coming off the edge with speed. Mike Mayock of NFL Network has Floyd in this ninth spot. I’m hearing, courtesy of NFL Network, that the Giants really covet Floyd. If the Bucs go with another prospect, such as Sheldon Rankins or Shaq Lawson, expect Floyd to be a Giant.
