After completing a trade with the Cleveland Browns, the Philadelphia Eagles select Carson Wentz, quarterback, North Dakota State.

Trade details:

PHI receives – 2016 pick 2, as well as a 2017 fourth round pick.

CLE receives – 2016 pick 8, 77, 100, as well as a 2017 first round and 2018 second round pick.

The Eagles were clearly content with either quarterback left on the board, and in this case, select the intriguing North Dakota State’s Carson Wentz.
