1. Week 11 versus New England Patriots

Patriots QB Tom Brady has waited for this game for a long time. He grew up in California rooting for the 49ers and Joe Montana. The Patriots have played at San Francisco once since 2008 – and Brady missed that season with a torn ACL.

The 49ers beat the Patriots in an epic Sunday Night Football game in 2012, which ended the Patriots lengthy December winning streak at home. The 49ers, of course, are a much different team today.

This should be an intriguing coaching matchup between Patriots coach Bill Belichick (known for defense) and Kelly (known for offense). The 49ers should be aided with the Patriots having to travel across the country. The Patriots are just good, year in and year out. Who knows what the 49ers record will be at Week 11, but they should be motivated in this game to have a good performance against a perennial AFC powerhouse.

More from Niner Noise

Once again, this game promises to be an exciting one, especially if the 49ers can get pressure on Brady and force him out of the pocket. Brady is not known for his mobility, but uses his feet exceptionally well in the pocket. Additionally, the 49ers offense needs to break through the Belichick defense and score some points. The 49ers will not win this game 10-9.

This will be another tough game in a season of many for the 49ers. This season is a question mark. The 49ers should be better than the rudderless ship that was the 2015 version. Better coaching and play calling alone should lead to an improvement in 2016.
