Week 6 at Buffalo Bills

It’s a good thing the 49ers travel back east to Buffalo to take on the Bills in October and not later in the year.

San Francisco’s struggles are many, so avoiding the harsh conditions back east only removes a factor which doesn’t favor the Niners in any sense.

Trying to determine how the Bills will be this season is tough. Their 8-8 finish last year, and generally inconsistent play, is a testament to that notion. Head coach Rex Ryan always makes for an interesting opponent, and the reunion with former offensive coordinator Greg Roman will be provocative.

Roman will look to use running back LeSean McCoy and quarterback Tyrod Taylor as offensive focal points. And the 49ers will need to ensure wide receiver Sammy Watkins isn’t a hindrance.

This is one of the more winnable games on San Francisco’s road schedule this season. But it doesn’t make for a guarantee either.

It might be close, but the 49ers’ struggles continue in Week 6.

Prediction: Loss
