Week 13 at Chicago Bears

The 49ers pulled off a thrilling overtime victory over the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field last season, and signs are pointing to another win for the red and gold in back-to-back years.

With running back Matt Forte no longer in the picture, the 49ers can focus their defensive attention on quarterback Jay Cutler and wide receiver Alshon Jeffery. Cutler saw some notable improvements under head coach John Fox last season. And the Bears defense improved under former 49ers defensive coordinator Vic Fangio.

Still, Chicago seems to provide an ample opportunity for the 49ers to pick up a precious road victory. And this game also would be a chance for the Niners to spend a week in Youngstown, Ohio in order to avoid the back-and-forth travel from Miami to Santa Clara.

Let’s go with a win in this contest and see if the 49ers can make Cutler look bad once again.

Prediction: Win
