No. 4: Dallas Cowboys

2015 Record: 4-12

The Pick: OLB Myles Jack, UCLA

The Dallas Cowboys are in an interesting predicament entering the 2016 season. Should they be looking for a quarterback to replace 35-year-old starter Tony Romo at some point down the road? Or will they worry about that later and look to improve other areas on the field?

The what-would-have-been Cowboys should have been better had Romo been healthy all of last season. And there’s the risk Dallas will encounter the same thing again.

But passing up on a player like linebacker Myles Jack out of UCLA would be too far-fetched for the Cowboys to do.

Jack’s injury recovery will be something to monitor in advance of the draft. But, if healthy, the UCLA standout would provide an immediate upgrade to Dallas’ defense — a unit that ranked No. 16 in the league last season with 374 points allowed.
