No. 13: Philadelphia Eagles

2015 Record: 7-9

The Pick: QB Jared Goff, California

The Philadelphia Eagles may want to wipe the slate clean from the influence of former head coach Chip Kelly. And moving away from quarterback Sam Bradford would be one step in that direction.

While re-signing Bradford may be on the Eagles’ to-do list this offseason, is it really hard to fathom the Eagles wanting to move in a different direction other than the oft-injured, inconsistent Bradford?

A new face of the franchise is needed here. And Cal quarterback Jared Goff has slipped past many of the teams likely eyeing a top-tier signal-caller.

Goff would be the type of quarterback who would benefit from weapons like tight end Zach Ertz and wide receiver Jordan Matthews given the Cal prospect’s style of play and skill set. He’d be too good to pass up at No. 13.
