Offensive Player of the Year – Joe Staley

While the offensive line was a disaster in 2015, it also featured the only player who can be considered worthy of the Offensive Player of the Year award in the form of Joe Staley.

Staley had the odd bad game, but it was largely another strong year from the left tackle, who was named to his fifth straight Pro Bowl.

In 1037 snaps Staley gave up just 25 hurries, six hits and five sacks, per PFF, maintaining his status as the cornerstone of the O-line and the one player the 49ers simply cannot afford to lose up front.

At 31, Staley is showing no signs of slowing down and is likely to be an integral part of the 49ers offense once again in 2016.
