RB Mike Davis

2015 Statistics

Rookie running back Mike Davis was another player limited by injuries and, early on, a clogged depth chart at the position.

Davis, another fourth-round selection, saw some action between Weeks 2 through 8 and managed just 24 yards on 25 carries during that stretch — an average of 0.96 yards per attempt.

A hand injury suffered in Week 8 versus the St. Louis Rams forced Davis to miss the majority of the season’s remainder until finally getting another call in Week 17 against the Rams once more. Davis had 34 yards on 10 carries during that contest and finished with 27 snaps, per Jeff Deeney of Pro Football Focus.

Davis’ net average this season was 1.7 yards per carry and, while injuries certainly hampered his efforts, 2015 has to be considered a complete miss for the former back out of South Carolina.
