Bruce Irvin – Seattle Seahawks OLB (UFA)

If the 49ers strike out on Miller, linebacker Bruce Irvin is another potential get who would instantly improve the anemic 49ers pass rush. He did have some off-field issues before he was drafted, however since he has been with the Seahawks he has stayed a model citizen.

He has had a good year, as per Pro Football Focus he ranks at No. 14 with a grade of plus-78.4, with strong grades also against both the run and the pass. He only has 5.5 sacks on the year, but with the 49ers he would get a complete license to rush the passer and if he was teamed up with Wilkerson, then look out.

Irvin is another younger player at 28, with a 2015 cap-friendly figure of $2,895,542. He would provide another spark to the pass rush, and teamed up with Lynch would give the 49ers impact from both sides of the line of scrimmage.

But most of all, signing him away from the Seahawks and weakening them more is a win, right?
