Kyle Williams. All the finger pointing has been going towards the direction of the second year wide receiver after the San Francisco 49ers fell short against the New York Giants in the NFC championship game. Williams had two costly fumbles that eventually resulted in 10 points for the Giants. The crucial fumble coming in overtime, this gave the Giants great field position to set up a game winning field goal. When the game concluded I was seriously depressed. I am sure many Niner fans were sharing the same emotions, if not worst. When I had time to cool down and evaluate the game I realized that it is unfair to put all the blame on Williams. I do believe in the saying, “We fall as a team and we rise as a team.” Here are the other factors that contributed to the Niners defeat. (more…)

Here we go, again. The San Francisco 49ers will take on the New York Giants for the right to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl. The rematch between these two teams is the most anticipated championship game this weekend. No disrespect to the New England Patriots or the Baltimore Ravens, but the game will be easily won by the Pats. I do not like the Ravens going into Foxboro and beating QB Tom Brady and that outstanding offense. Obviously I could be wrong not many expected the Niners to beat the New Orleans Saints and their high powered offense; we all know how that turned out. But enough about the Patriots and Ravens, let’s talk about our game! It is going to be a physical game, which the Niners do not mind at all. It going to be old school football; there’s going to be mud, rain, bruises, blood, and tears. It is going to be one hell of a game between two great franchises. Here are the keys to this championship game. (more…)
