Over the last few games the 49ers have gotten away from Running Back Frank Gore and that is not a bad thing. The offense and the coaches have gotten live looks at where the passing game is at this point in the season and what they can work on. The deep ball is in need of a lot of work and the 49ers will need that big play in the playoffs. Yet on this Sunday it will be all about Gore.

Frank will be the focus for this game as the 49ers look to reestablish a dominant running game and take it to the Rams, A team that gave up 228 yards to Arizona RB Beanie Wells with a backup QB at the helm. While I don’t believe the Rams defense will play that bad but I do believe Frank will put up 150 yards on the Rams should the 49ers let him? This game could get out of hand by half and the coaches may choose to play RB Kendall Hunter a bit more to save Frank. (more…)
