The 2017 NFL Draft is just weeks away. With a slew of top prospects, the intrigue is high this year. Let’s mock up the first round of the draft.

This year’s NFL Draft is shaping up to be one filled with mystery as there seems to be very little consensus on where prospects should be ranked.

There’s no clear pecking order, outside of Texas A&M EDGE Myles Garrett.

With the Cleveland Browns owning two top-15 picks, the San Francisco 49ers sitting at No. 2 — and their apparent openness to trading down — and the Carolina Panthers (only one full season removed from a Super Bowl appearance) at No. 8, the interest is high at the top of the NFL Draft.

This mock will exclude any hypothetical trades. Instead it will operate on the basis of the current draft order (although which is bound to change somewhat).

Here’s my take on what I think will transpire in the first round of the NFL Draft.
