As the 2016 regular season beings to wind down to a close, Niner Noise looks at NFL power rankings as Week 16 is now on the table. Where do all 32 teams sit?

The San Francisco 49ers are still way down towards the bottom of the barrel in NFL power rankings. And the New England Patriots still sit towards the top.

But a number of surprising finishes– yes, you, Kansas City Chiefs — shake up the rankings quite a bit heading into Week 16.

Oh, and lest we forget more head coaching axes and notable team meltdowns. Yes, you, Jacksonville Jaguars. And what happened there, Cincinnati Bengals?

The NFL playoff picture is starting to clear up, now with two weeks left on the regular-season schedule. A few bottom-dwelling teams can still play the spoiler role, although the focus of most non-playoff-bound teams falls on the offseason.

So let’s break down this week’s NFL power rankings, focusing on all 32 teams around the league.
