With the first three games now in the books for the 2016 NFL preseason, it’s time to take a look at some 49ers who have disappointed so far and predict what the outcomes will be at their respective positions.

Grading players’ performances in the preseason can be a little difficult.

With so many players getting snaps on both sides of the ball, their time operating with the first team offense or defense changes from game to game, as does the caliber of player they are lining up against.

But with the third preseason game being the dry run for what we likely will see from the 49ers offensive and defensive units come September, let’s take a look at a few players (and their respective positions) who have had a disappointing preseason so far in 2016.
