The San Francisco 49ers have little in terms of star players on the roster but are blessed with plenty of young guns who could break out in 2016. Here are six who will emerge.

Star quality is not something there is much of on the San Francisco 49ers’ 2016 roster. However, San Francisco boasts a number of talented young players who have what it takes to break out in the 2016 season.

Despite a five-win season in 2015, it is clear the 49ers have some established starters who are in a good position to potentially join the NFL’s elite and a collection of rookies and fringe players with the opportunity and skill set to make a big impact.

It is fair to say former head coach Jim Tomsula and his staff did not make best use of the limited talent at their disposal in 2015.

That does not figure as much of a problem for Chip Kelly and his coaches, meaning the Niners have a better chance of seeing their players develop.

With that in mind we look at six players who are strong candidates to enjoy break out seasons as the 49ers look to enjoy a bounce-back year in 2016.
