San Francisco is set to play in the first ever football game at Levi’s Stadium this coming Sunday.
The 49ers will host the defending AFC Champion, Denver Broncos who just played the Super Bowl Champion Seattle Seahawks last week.
The new $1.3 billion stadium houses roughly 6,000 more seats than Candlestick Park, and features state of the art technology which sets it apart from all other NFL stadiums.
“Not only will the new Santa Clara Stadium be one of the greenest and ecologically-conscious outdoor venues in the world, but it will be one of the most technologically-savvy.”
Among the features include enough solar panels that will help offset the power consumed by the stadium during home games.
Niner fans attending the game should see more of the starters this time around, with the first group typically seeing at least a full quarter in the second preseason game.
NFL fans get their first taste of Levi’s Stadium on Sunday afternoon before a nationally televised audience on the NFL Network.
