After playing Baltimore in last Thursday’s preseason opener, the San Francisco 49ers spent the rest of the weekend practicing with the Ravens.
On Monday, the 49ers and Ravens had their final workout, after which, San Francisco traveled back home before resuming practice again on Wednesday.
Since Thursday, the 49ers have several roster moves, beginning with the release of wide receiver Chuck Jacobs, who suffered a torn ACL in Thursday’s preseason game. In return, San Francisco agreed to a two-year contract with receiver Lance Lewis, who spent parts of last season with the Washington Redskins and Dallas Cowboys.
Lewis was also on the 49ers practice squad in 2013.
San Francisco is next preparing for a home game against the Denver Broncos, the first football game ever to be played at Levi’s Stadium.
