Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman and San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Michael Crabtree continue their feud with the media.
“It’s much more of just I don’t like the dude,” Sherman said during an appearance on Wednesday night’s episode of “American Muscle,” which was viewed early by For The Win. “You know what I’m saying. And I think he’s sorry. So it’s really what it comes down to.”
The feud between both NFL players dates back to an incident at Larry Fitzgerald’s charity softball game in 2013. The animosity reached a peak when Sherman went on national television and ripped Crabtree moments after the NFC Championship Game last season. After disrupting the 49ers’ final play, the Seahawks went on to win their first-ever Super Bowl championship.
“It’s just about him, it’s just about Crabtree,” Sherman says on tonight’s show.
“It’s not going to be something that goes away. I hope to play him every year for the rest of my career and choke him out. There’s not much else I can say about the subject. Nobody will understand it but him and me. That’s all that needs to understand.”
Sherman can keep talking to the media, the 49ers are listening and Crabtree will let his game do the talking.
