The news just keeps getting better and better for the San Francisco 49ers.
Late Sunday afternoon, the 49ers official website, announced via social media, that wide receiver Michael Crabtree not only is active for Sunday’s game against St. Louis, but he’s also slated to start.
It will be Crabtree’s first NFL action this season after rehabbing from a torn Achilles.
According to numerous reports, including Fox Sports’ Jay Glazer, Crabtree could see about “60-65 percent of the snaps” Sunday. He’s expected to rotate heavily with both Mario Manningham and Jon Baldwin.
