On the field, Aldon Smith is known as a sack machine as he has totaled 40 career sacks since 2011. The outside linebacker has also become known for his celebration moves after sacking a quarterback.
Smith is one of the more creative defensive players in the NFL when it comes to coming up with sack celebrations. He has celebrated sacks by running around the field with his long arms rotating like windmills, employing various dance moves and most memorably immediately running to the sidelines to sit on the bench after taking down a quarterback.
In the win over the Washing Redskins, Aldon had two sacks on Robert Griffin. On his first sack against RG3 in the third quarter that went for a loss of eight yards, Smith debuted what he called the “Terrio Dance.” Click here to see him do the dance. Here is a video from Vine of the dance:
Nose tackle Glenn Dorsey approved of Smith’s new moves, saying, “He did a good job with it. If I get one, I’m going to bust it, too.”
Let’s hope Niner fans get to see the “Terrio Dance” multiple times against the St. Louis Rams on Sunday.
