49ers vs. Seahawks: Game Day Information, Injury Report, Where To Watch On TV & Online

The countdown has begun towards the NFC West showdown between the San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks. The highly anticipated game will be the first of five nationally televised games for the 49ers. This will mark the second game in a row the 49ers and Seahawks have played on Sunday Night Football in Seattle.

Both teams had wins in the season opener. However, the Seahawks only managed to score 12 points in the win over the Carolina Panthers, while the 49ers torched the Green Bay Packers for 34 points and 494 offensive yards. The defense was led by LB NaVorro Bowman who had a team high 13 tackles to go with a 1 forced fumble. Bowman and fellow inside linebacker Patrick Willis will be the X factors in stopping quarterback Russell Wilson and shutting down Seattle’s offense.

The one negative thing with the 49ers playing on Sunday Night Football is Niner fans have to wait all day to watch the game. The anticipation will be building watching the other 28 teams in action. Kickoff cannot come soon enough.
