On Friday, Niner Noise reported Colin Kaepernick was going to throw out the first pitch at the San Francisco Giants game against the Miami Marlins at AT&T Park. Kap dazzled the crowd with an 87 mile-per-hour fastball to Giants closer Sergio Romo.

Normally, first pitch ceremonies end with a lob to home plate or a throw in the dirt. But not for Kaepernick. Yes, he has a strong throwing arm but he is no stranger to baseball. He was drafted by the Chicago Cubs in the 43rd round in 2009.

This is the first time I have ever seen Kap in an SF Giants hat. Hopefully he keeps on wearing the Giants cap and he ditches the Brewers hat he usually wears.
