Today, the NFL announced that 49ers running back Frank Gore has been fined $10,500 for wearing his socks “too low” during the NFC Championship game. A look approved in college football is unacceptable in the NFL, and violators will be fined.

Apparently, the “low sock” look provided Gore with a fortune of good luck, as he had a career day, rushing 21 times for 90 yards, and two touchdowns including the game-winning score with 8:23 left in regulation.

Whether Gore will continue the look on the game’s biggest stage remains to be seen, but one thing is for sure, he will definitely be ready to roll, as he gets ready to play the game of his life.
