Your San Francisco 49ers are once again NFC West Division Champions after their 27-13 win over the Arizona Cardinals. With the win and a loss by the Green Bay Packers, San Francisco secured not only their second straight division title, but also a first-round bye in the playoffs. The Niners will host a divisional playoff game at home on January 12.

The extra week will provide the 49ers with much needed rest after a brutal 16 game schedule that saw San Francisco finish their second straight winning season for the first time since the 2002-2003 seasons. After the 49ers defeated the Cardinals at home, they watched the Minnesota Vikings beat the Packers on a last minute field goal. The win by the 49ers and the Vikings was nice, but the team has things to work on, like which player will step up to provide another receiving option other than Michael Crabtree and can the defense adjust and survive without Justin Smith in the playoffs. In the meantime, let’s hand out some Game Gold Nuggets.
