Niner Noise.com attended the San Francisco Giants World Series Parade today and had a lot of fun celebrating with everyone in orange and black. Two championships in three years in any sport is an impressive feat, especially in baseball. Hopefully we will all be back at Civic Center Plaza in February to celebrate another San Francisco championship. Niner Noise arrived three hours before the start of the parade to get a good seat in front of city hall for the rally and speeches. Not only was there plenty of orange and black, but many fans were also sporting red and gold in support of the Niners.
While we were watching the live footage of the parade coming down Market Street on the jumbotron, one of the biggest cheers were for 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh and quarterback Alex Smith. Harbaugh was driving the car for Giants first baseman Brandon Belt, while Smith was chauffeuring Giants pitcher Matt Cain. It was awesome Harbaugh and Smith took the time to show their support for the San Francisco Giants winning their second World Series championship in three years.
