The San Francisco 49ers will open up their 2012 training camp next week at team headquarters in Santa Clara. Niner fans have been waiting through the Super Bowl, free agency, the draft and offseason workouts for the 2012 season to get under way after the teams resurgence back to relevancy. The heartbreaking loss to the Giants in the NFC Championship is likely still on the minds of the 49ers Faithful, but the start of training camp allows for us fans to finally wipe the slate clean and start over with a new season and new hope.
The first set of 49ers players will arrive at team headquarters on Saturday, July 21 with rookies and selected veterans reporting for training camp. On Monday, July 23 the first practice will take place for the 49ers players who are required to be at camp already. We will see the rest of the 49ers veterans on the roster reporting on Thursday, July 26. The 49ers first full-squad practice of 2012 will take place on July 27.
