What Level of Play Can We Expect From Randy Moss?

This guest post was made by the SeatCrunch team.

We’ve known since March that Randy Moss was coming out of retirement to play for the San Francisco 49ers. It’s hard to know what to expect when a player like Moss comes out of retirement. Will he play as well as he did when he was younger? Is he slower and weaker now that he’s aged? Can he still handle the pressure of playing in a big-time NFL game?

According to 49ers coaches, Randy Moss has been playing extremely well in camp. In fact, Jim Harbaugh has gone on the record to say that both Crabtree and Moss have been performing at very high levels in training camp. Harbaugh has even gone so far as to say that Crabtree has the best hand he’s ever seen.

If the Niners really do have two elite receivers in Moss and Crabtree then they are going to be an extremely difficult team to stop in 2012. If Moss’s game is really where coaches say it is, football fans should be excited to see this NFL great play another season.

@DouchyRandyMoss what good is having moss if smiths hands are to small to hold an NFL foot ball let alone it throw deep?

@norcalpatsfan I wondered the same thing, then Jim Harbaugh told me he’d be QB if Smith started struggling
