		<description>This move makes sense because it allows more money to open up to sign Rogers at the position. Teams will unlikely trade for Spencer. This is more of a move to keep peace with the player, but the 49ers have no bargaining room on this one. The rest of the league knows if they don&#039;t trade for him, the Niners will likely cut him making him available anyway. Perhaps a team desperate for a cornerback gives up a day 3 draft pick just so they know what they are getting. Even if the Niners get a 6th or a 7th thats still better than keeping veteran #5 corner.</description>
