49ers 2012 schedule


 

After the 2002 season week 17 meant 2 things for the 49ers: where are we drafting and who are we playing next year. While the former hasn’t been set yet, and the 2012 football season means absolutely nothing with our team in the playoffs, some people always want to know.While we won’t know when these games will take place till early April, we at least know the opponents  for the 2012 season. Here they are.

Arizona Cardinals-  home and away 2011 record- 8-8. 15th pick in the 2012 draft

Seattle Seahawks- home and away 2011 record- 7-9. Will have the 11th or 12th pick pending a coin-flip with Kansas City

St. Louis Rams- home and away 2011 record- 2-14 .Currently have the #2 ovarall pick in the draft

@ New Orleans Saints- 2011 record- 13-3. Winners of the NFC South and the 3rd seed in the playoffs

New York Giants- 2011 record 9-7. Winners of the NFC East and the 4th seed in the playoffs

@ Green Bay Packers- 2011 record- 15-1. Winners of the NFC North and #1 seed in the playoffs

Detroit Lions – 2011 record- 10-6. Earned the 6th seed in the NFC playoffs

Chicago Bears - 2011 record- 8-8. Have the 18th pick in the draft

@ Minnesota Vikings - 2011 record- 3-13. Have the 3rd overall pick in the upcoming draft.

 

@ New England Patriots - 2011 record- 13-3. Won the AFC East and the #1 seed in the playoffs

@ New York Jets - 2011 record- 8-8. Own the 14th pick in the draft.

Miami Dolphins  - 2011 record- 6-10. 9th overall pick in the draft

Buffalo Bills - 2011 record- 6-10. will pick 10th overall in the draft

Overall opponent record 125-131, 91-69 in you take out the division games. It will be a tough schedule, but thats what happens when you are division champions. The Niners will play every NFC playoff team except for the Atlanta Falcons. The only AFC playoff team the 49ers will play are the Patriots.

 The rest of the west will have the same schedule minus the Saints and Giants. If you are curious the Cardinals will face the teams that finish second in the NFC east and south, Seahawks will get the 3rd in those divisions while the Rams end up with the last place teams.
