49er Gameday News and Notes

In less than 1 hour the 49ers will take on the 5-0 Detriot Lions in the game of the week.  A few 49er tidbits to hold you over:

Heat star Lebron James  will be in attendance, maybe he’s scouting teams to play for this season  if that NBA lockout continues?

The 49ers haven’t been 5-1 since 1998, and haven’t had a 4 game winning streak since 2001

Jay Glazer is reporting on his twitter  that the 49ers are one of 3 teams interested in trading for Broncos Widereceiver Brandon Lloyd. Lloyd started his career with the 49ers and was a big disappointment. Personall I say the Broncos can keep Lloyd, once Braylon Edwards comes back the 49ers will not need Lloyd. This is not a team that needs 3 WRs, the strength of the offense is the 21 personnel with 2 Tightends on the field.
