49ers Fan Poll: How would Colin Kaepernick fair as a starting QB?

Given the wild success of Carolina’s Cam Newton, Cinncinati’s Andy Dalton and the Jaguars decision to start their rookie Quarterback Blaine Gabbert this week you have to admit 49er fans you’re wondering. Sure Alex Smith has played pretty well this season and he did organize “Camp Alex” forgive me when I say this…whatever. All the quarterbacks I just mentioned had bad preseason’s of their own. Sure Colin Kaepernick looked awful at times but I’m still wondering and you are too. I have stated in the past I am pro letting Harbaugh handle the QB position the way he wants to without my criticisms. I’m not even for the move now, we have a stop gap QB like him or not he’s better than anything Carolina, Cincy and Jacksonville have (be it by choice) and he’ll do until the kid’s ready I guess.

So onto the poll question if Colin Kaepernick were “forced” into starting a game within the next 2 weeks for whatever reason how do you think he would far?
