SF Police Release Sketch of Suspect in Beating at 49ers Game

The multiple acts of violence from Saturday’s Raiders vs. 49ers game are still fresh on the minds of 49er fans as no suspects have been arrested.  One of the incidents at the game was a beating of a 26-year-old fan from San Rafael inside the restrooms.  The man was knocked unconscious during the attack but is in fair condition at a hospital.

To think fans would take their hatred of another team to such a level as beating someone up in the restroom is not the 49er way or anyone’s way.  With the San Francisco Police releasing a sketch of one of the suspects the right thing to do is releasing to readers of Niner Noise who may have attended the game or might recognized the person from their neighborhood.  Below is a sketch of the suspect who is a Pacific Islander man standing between 6 feet 3 inches and 6 fee 5 inches tall and weighs between 225 and 260 pounds.  If you have any information you can contact SF Police at their anonymous tip line at 415-575-4444.

Last Saturday’s violence is rare even with 49ers vs. Raiders games.  On average the police arrest one to two fans per game while Saturday saw 12 people booked into jail.  Enough is enough.
