You have to protect your QB better than that, it was ridiculous. Colin Kaepernick is one of the best athletes I've ever seen and even HE couldn't escaped from that. When Alex plays well, it's because he has time to do things. Whether you like Alex Smith or not, the line needs to improve because that's the only way the 49ers will succeed.
