This wasn't the most gifted QB ever, granted, but with those two offensive DOPES as head coaches, he never had a chance. Give the guy a break. What do you expect from the : run gore inside on first, run gore inside on second, and on 3rd and long HEY ALEX GO BE JOE MONTANA, with only 1 viable option as a recieving TE. EVEN I could game-plan to stop this pathetic predictable offense. What are the other options anyway? Papier-machee Marc Bulger? Donovan McNabb? PLEEAASE!!! We hired JH because he's a QB guru, right? Let's see what he can do to get something out of the #1 overall pick.(Admittedly by default, because noone else wanted the pick that year). But they had drafted Aaron Rodgers, and gave him to those inept coaches, he probably woul've ended up the same. Stop harping on Alex, and talk about the TEAM. The Swiss Cheese Secondary, The patchwork inexperienced O-line, and the undersized D-line. It starts there. Fix the Lines and even Trent Dilfer can win a superbowl.
