It doesn't say Kaepernick will end up that way. Also if you can remember, Leaf was actually considered by the Colts over Manning. I do believe Kaepernick will be a great qb, but in my opinion is a more risky pick than Ponder. I believe Ponder fits the 49ers perfectly. Either way I'd be happy if the 49ers drafted either one.
