Entered NFL draft after his sophomore year. Drafted in the first round with the 10th pick in 2009.


Best game in college: September 22, 2007 against Oklahoma State. Caught 14 passes for 237 yards with three touchdowns.


In the clutch: Played in the 2008 Cotton Bowl against Mississippi which the Red Raiders lost. Caught four passes for 30 yards with one touchdown.




First-team All-American in 2007 and 2008


Paul Warfield Trophy in 2007 and 2008 (Nation’s top collegiate wide receiver)


Fred Biletnikoff Award in 2007 and 2008. (America’s top college football receiver by the The Tallahassee Quarterback Club Foundation, Inc.)


All-Big 12 First Team in 2007 and 2008


AT&T ESPN All-America Player of the Year in 2007. (First freshman to win the award)


Crabtree Facts:


Was a highly recruited basketball star out of high school. He had to make a decision to either play football or basketball for Texas Tech.


Received football scholarships from Texas (wanted him to play defense), Kansas, Illinois, Texas A&M, Iowa, Kansas State, Baylor and Oklahoma.


Was a red shirt freshman in 2006


Is on the 2010 cover of the video game NCAA Football 10


Scored a 15 on the NFL Wonderlic Test


As a Niner:


Will compete with Josh Morgan at the X position (split end).


Is injuried with a left foot fracture but will be ready for training camp in July.


Will wear number 15.


As of May 13, 2009 he remains unsigned by the 49ers.
