Getting rid of Moran Norris was a mistake. He lead the charge for Frank Gore the last two years and to cut him to leave the fullback duties to Zak Keasey who was a linebacker before coming to the 49ers was a horrible move. Nolan was the culprit for not only this but all the other stupid signings and draft picks that have not allowed the 49ers to make any progress in talent. With Nolan gone they may not make more mistakes like this in the future but they still have Scott McCloughan making personnel decisions. Remember he had a big part in all of Nolan's draft picks. As much as the D have shown they need help the 49ers need to concentrate on offense in the off-season.

Please tell me why we need 4 tight ends, and not a single fullback on the roster? Ever notice why we are afraid to run on 3rd and 1, or 4th and goal? In addition, we don't have a single wideout who strikes Fear into the heart of the enemy. What we are seeing is the result of failed drafts that focused on trying to re-create somebody's defensive glory days in Baltimore, rather than running a true, West Coast offense. Next draft: O-line, Wide Receiver, and Fullback - in that order.
