I hope the Joke Family does sell the team. The team fell into their laps after legendary 49er owner Eddie Debartolo Jr. (Denise York’s brother) got busted for corruption. I read rumor a couple years ago that Steve Young and Brent Jones along with other people were looking at buying the 49ers. This may have been far from the truth but that is the kind of owners we need, former players or die-hard fans (with hundreds of millions of dollars) to buy the team to return the Red and Gold to their glory years. The Joke Family only cares about moving into a new stadium and trying to make a profit. I agree. I didn't watch every game but I saw most of them and you'd think they'd mention it at some point. What's the point of honoring him if the honor is nowhere to be seen. That's like retiring Montana's jersey but not hanging the No. 16 jersey anywhere for people to see and be reminded of what he did for the franchise.
