NFC Championship Game
I’m really excited about this game, and not because the 2 teams I picked to go are going. I actually think this could be a good game, up until Favre adjusts things so no NY Giant blitzes will effect him. Those quick slants that Favre has been throwing his whole career are what will ultimately kill the Giants. They don’t have the coverage guys to stop those passes.
The weather is also expected to have a high of 4 degrees Fahrenheit and I’m sure this game won’t be kicking off until 4:15 (CST - also known as Cheesehead Standard Time) so the 4th quarter should be ballz cold and with snow flurries exceeding 40 mph.
There’s nothing like football in horrible conditions. Some people hate that kind of weather because the passing game can’t play show off, but fuck those people. Rain, Snow, Wind, and Sleet, all make up components for a true football slog. As it should, those games are decided in the trenches, with the OL vs. DL. My fondest memories of competitive football games (from H.S. so let the shit talking begin) all revolve around horrible weather, with fields that would bring back memories of France in WWI. If you want ideal conditions, play indoor soccer or something else lame. If you want to see a war without death, watch a NFL game in January in Green Bay.
Predicitions: Green Bay covers the -6.5 spread and take the over (unless the over under goes over 49). Make some money my gaming friends.
