JH – If you watched any of the 49er games this season, you know I’d kill to see a QB complete more than 20 passes in a game. I can’t remember the last time a niner QB had a 300 yd passing game, and we’ve only had 2 games in the past 4 years where a QB threw for 3 TD’s in a game. Frank Gore has been stifled by the Mike Nolan offense (at least this past season), and anytime a good RB has 8-9 guys stacked in the box he’s going to have a tough time running the ball. He was lucky as hell to pull off a 1000 yd season this year.

…and unless Kurt Warner, Isaac Bruce, Marshall Faulk and company have traveled through time from 1999 and were signed to this team, the The Greatest Show On Turf it is not. Not trying to hate, but let me just say that Rams team was something special. Good luck to the 49′ers and I hope Martz does good things.

Good news… if you want your QB to throw 45 times a game, get sacked 5+ times and stifle Frank Gore. Unless you draft a few new offensive lineman…
